This may be "Wiley" Atkins, who lived in Franklin Co. MS in 1830 (his daughter, Lucretia was married there in 1838).  No Atkins are found in the 1840 census in Franklin Co., MS.

Stephen WENTWORTH [Parents] 1 was born 1 on 1 Apr 1788 in Conway, Carroll Co., New Hampshire. He died 1 on 2 Mar 1868 in Maine. He was buried 1 in East Knox Cemetery, Waldo Co., Maine. Stephen married Nancy UNKNOWN 1.

Nancy UNKNOWN 1 was born 1 about 1790. Nancy married Stephen WENTWORTH 1.

Rev. Thad Dyer DOUGLASS [Parents] was born 1, 2 on 8 Jun 1894 in Rains Co., Texas. He died 2 on 14 Dec 1965 in Little Rock, Pulaski Co., Arkansas. Thad married 1, 2 Julia Fidelia STONE "Fidelia" 3 on 7 Feb 1915 in Ashley Co., Arkansas.

On November 24, 1923, Thad and Fidelia were granted letters of dismission from Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Berea, Ashley Co., Arkansas [Mt. Olive Church Records, p. 129].

Julia Fidelia "Fidelia" STONE [Parents] 1 was born on 3 Oct 1895 in Arkansas. She died 2, 3 on 28 Oct 1976 in Dermott, Chicot Co., Arkansas. She was buried 1 in Snyder Cemetery, Ashley Co., Arkansas. Fidelia married 3, 4 Rev. Thad Dyer DOUGLASS on 7 Feb 1915 in Ashley Co., Arkansas.

Named after her maternal grandmother, Julia Fidelia Riley Taylor who died giving birth to her mother, Anna.

MRS. THAD DOUGLAS
  Mrs. Fidelia Stone Douglas, 81, of Dermott, formerly of Hamburg and Montrose, died in a Dermott hospital Thursday, Oct. 28. She was the widow of the Rev.Thad Douglas, a Baptist minister who held several pastorages in Southeast Arkansas and well as an Association Missionary in Northeast Arkansas. Mrs. Douglas is a native of Ashley County and she was member of the Bellaire Baptist Church, near Dermott.
  She is survived by two sons, Turner Douglas, Conway, Jack Douglas, West monroe, La.; three daughters, Mrs. Virginia Teague, Dermott, Mrs. Lillian Lee, Montrose, Mrs. Cloteene Ausperger, Monroe, La.; three brothers, Robert and James Stone, Hamburg, seven sisters, Mrs. Lula McKinney, Crossett, Mrs. Alma Bailey and Mrs. Irene Smith, both of Monticello, Mrs. Bonnie Bailey, Wimar (sic), Mrs. Gladys Boykin, Malvern, Mrs. Agnes Adair, Snyder, Mrs. Anna Rowly, Pine Bluff; eight grandchildren and eight great gran-children (sic).
Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Bellaire Baptist Church by the Reverends R.H. Doris, Eddie Simpson and Harold White.
  Pallbearers were Billy Bailey, Douglas Stone, Thud Douglas, Wyman Douglas, John Charles  Wisner, and Jackie Wisner.  Burial was in the Snyder cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home.

James CAIN [Parents] 1 was born about 1793 in Chatham Co., North Carolina. He died in 1834 in Franklin Co., Mississippi. James married 1 Anna JOHNSON 1 on 19 Nov 1811 in Amite Co., Mississippi.

James came from North Carolina and in 1812 joined Zion Hill Baptist Church in Franklin Co., Mississippi.  He was licensed to preach in 1820, and pastored Mt. Zion from 1827-1832.  Mt. Zion is still an active congregation as of 2005.

Anna JOHNSON [Parents] 1 was born in 1793 in Chatham Co., North Carolina. She died in 1849 in Franklin Co., Mississippi. Anna married 1 James CAIN 1 on 19 Nov 1811 in Amite Co., Mississippi.

  F i Lenora Lee "Nora" CAIN was born on 8 Sep 1829. She died on 8 Oct 1905.

Caleb JOHNSON 1 was born in 1754 in Chester Co., Pennsylvania. He died 1 on 26 Feb 1850 in Amite Co., Mississippi. He was buried in 1850 in Mt. Zion Baptist Cemetery, Franklin Co., Mississippi. Caleb married 1 Frances WAGGAMAN 1 in 1785.

Caleb lived in Amite County MS from before 1820 until death in 1850.

Mary FOREMAN [Parents] 1 died 2 about 1837 in Amite Co., Mississippi. Mary married 1, 2 Hardy CAIN 1 in 1785 in Nash Co., North Carolina.

Elisha CAIN [Parents] 1 was born about 1739 in Bertie Precinct, North Carolina. He died after 1802 in Georgia. Elisha married 1 Martha BLAKE 1 in Orange Co., North Carolina.

His Will was recorded August 21, 1802 in Kershaw Co., NC with no wife
named in will. He resided in Chatham Co., NC during the Revolutionary War
and served as a Minute Man as 2nd Major by appointment on September 8,
1775.
