  Jamie Jennings Brooks, 81, of Crossett died Friday, December 6, 2002, at her residence. Born May 21, 1921, in Montrose to James Monroe and Cumye Jennings, she was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church.
  Survivors include her husband of 63 years, John T. Brooks; one son and his wife, Johnny and Toni Brooks of Crossett; one daughter, Carolyn Brooks Ross of Lacey; one sister, Mary Emily Bussell of Crossett; a special niece and her husband, Marilyn and David Barnes; seven grandchildren, Jared and Lindsay Brooks and Jennifer and Julie Brooks, all of Hamburg, Jim and Shelvia Ross and Roanne and Robert Garcia of Crossett, John Thomas Evers, Jr. of Tupelo, MS, and Patricia Lynn Evers of Pine Bluff; and five great-grandchildren, Rebecca and Dustin Riley, J.C. Ross IV, Jamie Elizabeth Garcia, Elisabeth Claire Brooks and Mary Preston Evers.
  She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Carroll and Cumye Brazeale.
  Funeral services were held Sunday, December 8, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett with Rev. Jimmie Lewis officiating. Burial was at Pinewood Memorial Park.
  Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital. Pallbearers were Jim Brooks, Sonny Brooks, David Barnes, Ronald Gardner, John Evers Jr. and Don Hart. Honorary pallbearers were A.B. Moore, Terry Terai, Hamp Etheridge, Maurice Hanry and Harold Owery.

Fannie BRYAN 1 was born 1 on 23 May 1866 in Arkansas. She died 1 on 29 Mar 1934 in Ashley Co., Arkansas. She was buried 1 in Eden Baptist Church Cemetery, Ashley Co., Arkansas. Fannie married 1 Edmund UPSHAW "Ed" 1 on 5 Apr 1885 in Union Pa., Louisiana.

 Hogan Morrell Estelle, 85, of Crossett died Tuesday, December 26, 2000, at the Ashley County Medical Center. Born October 15, 1915, to Willie and Lillie Stanley Estelle in Ashley County, he retired as a mechanist supervisor with the Ashley Drew and Northern Railway after 30 years of service. He loved to squirrel and bird hunt in his younger days and was a member of the Mount Olive Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a brother, J. B. Estelle, and his wife, Mildred McFarland Estelle.
 Survivors include a brother, George Estelle of Van Buren; two sisters, Helen Crowder of McGehee and Sally Ross of Little Rock; three stepchildren, Wilda Marchand, Russell Curl and Mae Curl; seven step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
 Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Friday, December 29, in the chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett with Rev. Roy Craig officiating. Burial followed services at Pinewood Memorial Park
